Plaisterers’ Hall was the setting for a promotional lunch to remember on the 5th November. The event was catered by the venue’s exclusive caterers, Create Food & Party Design, and attended by 120 specially invited guests.

Guests sat down to lunch beneath the chandeliers of the Great Hall, where they enjoyed an imaginative menu by Create. The caterers impressed with dishes which made the most of traditional Bonfire Night indulgences.

The event began with a drinks reception, where guests tasted canapés of smoked salmon galette with horseradish panna cotta and toasted dill seeds, Worcestershire parma ham and brioche soldiers with hollandaise dip and beetroot mille-feuille with rosemary scented goat’s cheese. Guests were then seated for a mouth-watering main course of fillet of British beef with chard and cashel blue bread and butter pudding, buttered spinach, glazed baby beetroot, carrots and a roasted garlic cream. The grand finale was a dessert which showcased Create’s innovation and imagination in style, the bonfire sundae. The dish brought together all the flavours of Bonfire Night with baked apple ice cream, beetroot chocolate brownie, pumpkin marshmallow, caramelised nuts, cinder toffee sauce and fondant flames.

An indulgent selection of treats rounded off the event. A bonfire pick & mix included a range of irresistible little delicacies, from sweet potato and maple pecan marshmallow lollipops to hot toddy jellies, spiced orange brownies and treacle toffee, and proved hugely popular with guests!
